EMU Football Depth Chart and Snap Counts: Buffalo Week (2024)
EMU hosts Cole Snyder's old team Wednesday night for the final home game of 2024.
Two, maybe three, games left on the schedule for Eastern Michigan.
On Wednesday, EMU (5-5 overall, 2-4 MAC) will host Buffalo (6-4, 4-2 MAC) for the final home game on the 2024 slate. Since losing to both Western Michigan and Ohio, the Bulls have beaten Akron and Ball State (OT) in its previous two games to reach bowl eligibility. EMU’s riding a three-game losing streak while starting at its 5-win mark.
Buffalo’s been a very interesting watch this season. Under first-season head coach Pete Lembo (Ball State’s former head coach), Buffalo got to bowl eligibility with a high-scoring overtime thriller over Ball State. It started the MAC year with wins over a once-ranked Northern Illinois team, then popped Toledo in the eye. That doesn’t mean Buffalo has been perfect this season.
EMU’s main goals are out of the question, but some other trophy games are still on the line. As far as I see it, those, plus pride, are the stakes.
EMU’s depth charts were released within its game notes Friday morning. Below are the team’s official updates, along with players’ snap counts for last game + this season (via Pro Football Focus).
