EMU Football Depth Chart and Snap Counts: Jax State Week (2024)
EMU finally has its home opener Saturday vs. Jacksonville State.
Last week was a disappointment on the scoreboard.
Despite Jesus Gomez’s record-setting kicks from 57 and 50 yards out, a 30-9 performance wasn’t what Eastern Michigan (1-1 overall) wanted to walk away with, especially when it was knocking on the door of Washington’s end zone on the first offensive drive of the game.
Happy or not with the game, Jacksonville State (0-2) is coming to town for EMU’s first home game of the year.
With the new week comes a new depth chart report. EMU puts out a public depth chart via its game notes. I’ve shared what EMU has below, with some of my notes, along with players’ total snap counts via Pro Football Focus.
Previous depth charts: Spring/Summer | UMass Week | Washington Week |

QUARTERBACK
#15 Cole Snyder (2 starts at EMU, 34 career starts at Buffalo)
#10 Jeremiah Salem (fourth year, walk-on turned scholarship)
While Cole Snyder had some effective moments with his scrambles, he wasn’t able to have a ton of passing success against the Washington defense. He’s currently at 60% passer for the year (33/55) for 370 air yards (6.72 Y/A), with 1 TD thrown, and 1 rushed.
