EMU Football Depth Chart and Snap Counts: Toledo Week (2024)
The margins for error don't get any wider from here.
This is put up or shut up time for both teams this weekend. With a 2-2 record halfway through conference play, Eastern Michigan is muddled in with a lot of schools around the conference that got rid of its East/West division splits this year. Toledo, which holds the exact same record as EMU, has just as much to prove to try and end up in the exact same location at the end of the year — Detroit City, USA.
And wouldn’t you know it, EMU vs. Toledo is one of two MAC games this Saturday as the calendar turns to November, and November means weeknight MACtion on your TV screens. If 4-0 Western Michigan and one of the 1-loss MAC teams end up going on a run in November, then there won’t be any room for a 3-loss conference team in the MAC championship picture.
EMU opened up MAC play with a big win over Kent State (52-33), then lost big to Miami (38-14) after a bye week. EMU then beat Central Michigan after it pulled off an 18-point comeback in the fourth quarter (38-34) , then lost to Akron on the road despite pulling off an 18-point comeback in the second half (25-21).
EMU publishes its depth chart updates within its game notes each Monday. Those notes can be found below, along with players’ Akron game and season-long snap count totals.
Previous depth charts: Spring/Summer | UMass | Washington | Jax State | St. Francis | Kent State | Miami OH | Central Michigan | Akron |
