EMU Football Depth Chart and Snap Counts: St. Francis Week (2024)
EMU closes out its non-conference schedule with a home matchup against FCS-level St. Francis.
It’s not even October and Eastern Michigan’s bench is already breaking a sweat. A grand total of 47 players (21 offense, 26 defense) saw the field as EMU hosted Jacksonville State Saturday on Maxx Crosby Field — the first game on the new turf.
The offensive line faced some adversity very early on as starting Broderick Roman exited the game with injury while two young tackles experienced their first career starts on the left and right sides.
Defensively, this team was already hurting without two corners that started in the season opener plus Bryce Llewellyn, who was expected to be a starter for this defense ahead of the season, all out with injuries. More injuries spurred up throughout the Jax State game, and two more exited with targeting calls during the fourth quarter and overtime periods. Tyrelle Deener, a Division III transfer, will miss the first half of the St. Francis game, but Quentavius Scandrett will not. During Monday’s team press conference, Chris Creighton said that while Scandrett was still ejected from the game targeting, a postgame review overturned the decision and he’ll be able to participate next game.
EMU’s weekly team notes include a published depth chart, which I’ve shared below. Also included are players’ total and weekly snap counts, along with how many starts everybody’s made this season.
