Last year we had a WAY to close game against UMass at home after getting blown out the week before, then responded by making adjustments that helped us the rest of the year. I hope that happens this year as well. On the bright side the defense played well in spite of how long they were on the field. There might be 8 DBs (or 7 if Joshua Scott isn't healthy) who are at least average as starters. Another positive was that last drive, gotta be a big confidence boost for Smith.
