EMU football’s second game of the year is tonight! Eastern Michigan will play at Louisiana at 7 p.m. tonight to try to reach its first 2-0 record since the 2018 season (watch: NFL Network). Use this thread for all of your pre-game, in-game, and post-game thoughts!
FINAL: Louisiana 49, EMU 21.
My thoughts in a word: Oof.
Great throw from Powell! 3-20 for EMU and convert to a touchdown!
Some MAC scores so far before EMU gets going,
-WMU got its first MAC win over Ball State, 37-30
-CMU smoked by South Alabama, 38-24
-Penn State beat Ohio 46-10
-Akron down 24-0 at halftime to Michigan State
-As predicted, EKU currently beating Bowling Green 24-17 in the third quarter
This is going to be one of the most disappointing losses in the Chrighton era … complete implosion
Alex just curious would you be able to research EMUs record in weather delay games? Give us something to do till the game comes on
I don't know how searchable that is. I know off-hand last year there was a weather delay at NIU, and that ended pretty poorly.
I hate the timing of this weather delay - we got momentum now - hate to lose it
I agree
That’s was a very impressive drive
Does coach chrighton still call the plays?
Yes, in short. It's a collaborative effort by the staff, but he does wear most of the responsibility.
