One Quick Note

Note to self: Don't get sick during football season anymore.

Hey all, just wanted to give everybody a quick little update on some things since I haven’t written anything since last week.

I had to miss Eastern Michigan’s game against Toledo because I was at an out-of-state wedding at the time, and I even missed a few hours of that celebration because I’ve been fighting an illness for about a week now. I, a self-proclaimed irresponsible idiot, hadn’t really been taking it easy until yesterday after my wife and I drove back home and I was forced to be a bed-ridden potato for the rest of the day. That was obviously what was best for me, but I do feel bad for not being able to write anything over the past week during one of the bigger weekends for EMU football.

I mean, the MAC West’s lead was at stake. That’s not something we’re used to dealing with when it comes to EMU football gamedays.

I am feeling better, all thanks to my wife, and we’re still working on getting me back to 100% strength. By the time you read this, I’ll have already started working on more posts from my bed for you to read very soon.

Again, just wanted to do the ole Midwestern apology for ever being ill during football season and another thank you for your support throughout the season. (However, I will not apologize for missing a football game to be at the wedding though; shouts out to Meredith M., an Eastern Michigan alumna, and Alex H., the two happiest people on Earth when they’re together). We’ve still got three more weeks left, and then we’ve got an entire offseason to look forward to as well.
