EMU Football Depth Chart: Week 1
Not many changes from what we saw in the preseason depth chart. DE Grant Trueman slotted to make his first career start this Friday.
To kick off the first game week of the year, Eastern Michigan has published its updates to the team’s depth chart following fall camp.
The depth chart for this team entering Week 1 vs. Eastern Kentucky (FCS) is not too unlike what was published by the team earlier this summer with the pre-camp depth chart.
EMU’s game against EKU is this Friday at home. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

DE: Grant Trueman is penciled in as a Week 1 starter with the Eagles this week after 22 games played with the team. With his JUCO experience, Trueman’s played in over 40 college football games.
CB: Joshua Scott, incoming JUCO transfer, cracks the two-deep as Mark Lee’s backup at cornerback. Korey Hernandez, healthy off an injured 2021 season, is the CB2 on the other side of the field, behind Kempton Shine.
S: At Rover, Blake Bogan is the starting safety (his 20th start, 40th game) with Quentavius Scandrett listed as the backup.
S Brandon Benson is not injured, coach Chris Creighton said at Monday’s presser. He’s just not listed on the two-deep.
