EMU Football Depth Chart: Week 10/11
After a shortened bye week, EMU will take a midweek road trip to battle Akron.
Eastern Michigan Football Depth Chart: Week 10/11 at Akron
It’s a bye week, but it’s not traditional.
Instead of two full weeks between games, MACtion begins with just two extra days rest for Eastern Michigan and Akron. EMU will hop on a bus on a Tuesday, travel to Akron for a football game, and, win, lose, or overtime, hop back on the bus to be back in time for class Wednesday morning.
Our television and gambling gods thank everybody for their efforts.
Eastern Michigan lost an important game to Toledo last week, which would’ve put the team in first place for the MAC West race. It could still get there, but it’ll require some dominos outside of EMU’s control to fall in EMU’s favor. What EMU can still control is this: capture its first 3-game win streak of the season.
And it starts with becoming bowl-eligible at Akron.
Eastern Michigan held its team press conference Monday morning and released its weekly depth chart Thursday in its game notes. Please keep in mind that these depth charts are almost never 100% what we see on game days, so expect some hidden changes to be revealed next week.
Previous weekly depth charts: Week 1 vs. Eastern Kentucky | Week 2 at Louisiana-Lafeyette | Week 3 at Arizona State | Week 4 vs. Buffalo | Week 5 vs. UMass | Week 6 at Western Michigan | Week 7 vs. Northern Illinois | Week 8 at Ball State | Week 9 vs. Toledo
